Creating Clay Faces - Saturday March 19 - 9 am to 2 pm
Team Teaching with Bethany:

I have a wonderful & talented new friend in Laveen who has taught me to make clay faces.  We decided it would be fun to combine my gourds and her clay and bring you this great  class!  You should be able to complete sculpting two faces and paint at least one.  Bethany is great at painting eyes (my downfall!!) and we'll have some painting tips for you to help with making facial features and shading.

Bethany Kartchner is a highly published mixed-media artist. Her work has appeared in many magazines including: Somerset Memories, Somerset Studio, GreenCraft, Somerset Apprentice, and Art Quilting Studio. She has also been the cover artist for GreenCraft and Somerset Apprentice. Currently, her artwork is on exhibit at Buell Children's Museum in Pueblo, Colorado. Bethany has a love of teaching and has extensive experience creating online tutorials and videos as well as teaching at a local store.

Bethany resides in Laveen, Arizona with her husband and 6 children and can be found furiously creating in her studio during naptimes and bedtimes. You can get to know Bethany better via her blog: www.CreativeRuminations.blogspot.com.
